
Distinguished Defense and Intelligence Leaders to Provide Strategic Guidance as ICEYE US Expands Its National Security Portfolio

The board comprises two distinguished leaders with extensive experience across the U.S. defense, intelligence, and geospatial intelligence communities.
The mission of the ICEYE US Government Advisory Board is to advance the strategic integration of commercial space-based monitoring capabilities within the U.S. national security ecosystem by providing expert guidance on acquisition reform, mission architecture, and operational integration.

Government Advisory Board Members
Vice Admiral Bob Sharp, USN (Ret.) served as the 7th Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency from February 2019 until June 2022, where he led over 14,000 personnel across more than 120 locations worldwide. A Naval Intelligence Officer for over 34 years, VADM Sharp previously commanded the Office of Naval Intelligence and served as Director of the National Maritime Intelligence-Integration Office. He is currently CEO of B Sharp — Global Solutions doing a combination of consulting, advisory and fellowship work, focused on helping the success of people who are trying to make the world a better place.
Lieutenant General John Shaw, USSF (Ret.) served as Deputy Commander of U.S. Space Command from 2020 to 2023, directing 12,000+ personnel worldwide. Among the first general officers commissioned in the United States Space Force, Lt Gen Shaw brings 33+ years of experience in national security space and aerospace engineering, having commanded the Combined Force Space Component Command and Fourteenth Air Force. He currently serves with Sierra Space's national security space strategic advisory group and on the board of directors of Stoke Space.
