Iconic Engine partners with PCCW Media to develop the csl. 5G VR app for CSL Mobile 5G users in Hong Kong

LOS ANGELES, April 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Iconic Engine, a global XR distribution platform provider, and PCCW Media, a leading, fully integrated multimedia and entertainment company headquartered in Hong Kong, have joined forces to develop the csl.5G VR app with Iconic Engine's "XR Suite" distribution platform, CMS, and apps, enabling CSL Mobile 5G users to easily experience virtual reality (VR) content on Android devices and Pico G2 4K VR headset. CSL Mobile unveiled 5G service offerings on April 1.

Extended reality (XR) content such as VR, augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR), and immersive experiences will be the next disruptive social and cultural change in technology, as 5G advancements continue to push the boundaries of what's possible. With the latest XR SDK from Iconic Engine, the csl. 5G VR app can take advantage of 360º, 180º, live, interactive, and volumetric media.
