SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- iCrossing, (http://news.icrossing.com) a global digital marketing agency, announced today that Merchantize, its media management platform, has been accepted into the Google Preferred AdWords API Pricing program. This will result in the elimination of API fees, which will increase the ROI and efficiency of paid search campaigns for iCrossing clients.
The Google Preferred AdWords API Pricing Program is a new initiative that reduces or removes fees associated with third party API interactions with AdWords and Google Display Network services. Google introduced the program in April, bringing the policies for use of their API in line with those from Yahoo! and MSN.
Merchantize is iCrossing's proprietary online media management toolset. It enables iCrossing's media team to meet client goals through custom workflows, intelligent automation, decision support and performance reporting. The platform ensures that both media managers and clients have the right information at their fingertips to run intelligent and successful paid search, shopping feed and contextual advertising campaigns.
In addition to acceptance into the Google Preferred AdWords Pricing program, iCrossing is enhancing Merchantize with Facebook API integration, an updated reporting suite and additional performance upgrades.
"Inclusion in the program is another milestone in our commitment to maximize investment and drive efficiency for clients," said Chris Wallace, senior vice president, digital media services, iCrossing.
Last year, iCrossing received "top honors for both its paid search and search engine optimization (SEO) current offering" in the Forrester Wave™: US Search Marketing Agencies, Q1 2009 report. iCrossing was also named the number one U.S. search marketing agency and number 11 digital agency in Advertising Age's Agency Report 2009 Index, as well as 2009 Search Agency of the Year by OMMA Magazine.
