IEEE Green Technologies Conference to Highlight Benefits of Renewable Energy Technologies

GRAPEVINE, Texas, April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- According to the Energy Information Administration, buildings already consume a third of energy worldwide, and world energy consumption is predicted to grow 60 percent by 2030.

To increase energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact, many building teams now incorporate renewable energy technologies into new construction and renovation projects.

Renewable energy technologies capture, store and deliver power derived from renewable resources, including sun, wind, water, the earth's core and plant matter. Because they do not depend on finite resources, renewable energies can increase stability in the power grid.
