IEEE International Connected Vehicles Conference Carries Momentum to China in 2015

WASHINGTON, Nov. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Organizers of the IEEE International Conference on Connected Vehicles and Expo are pleased with the results of their recent five-day event in Vienna, Austria.

Connected vehicle (CV) technology employs wireless modems and sensors to connect and communicate with other vehicles, roadway infrastructure and systems, as well as the cloud. Current technologies include adaptive speed control, self- and automated parking, lane departure warning and lane keeping assist.

ICCVE 2015 will be in Shenzhen, China, 26-30 October. Shenzhen, just north of Hong Kong, will be celebrating its 35^th anniversary next year as China's first special economic zone. It is home to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and headquarters to many high-tech companies.
