IELTS USA 2017 Workshop Series for ESL Teachers and Enrollment Managers

LOS ANGELES, April 3, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- IELTS USA is pleased to offer complimentary one-day professional development workshops to ESL Professionals and Enrollment Managers in the US during the summer of 2017.  IELTS, a test of English language proficiency, was taken more than 2.9 million times around the world last year, and is increasingly accepted and used by over 3,000 institutions in the United States.

The IELTS USA Teacher Workshop Series is designed for US ESL Professionals interested in learning more about IELTS, and includes a detailed explanation of each section of the test. The workshops will also provide resources and tools to Intensive English programs and language schools to support integration of IELTS into curriculum, as well as offer recommendations on how to develop IELTS test preparation courses. Teacher workshop topics include:

• Format and scoring
• A variety of task types
• Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking test samples
• Classroom activities

• Discussing global trends in secondary and post-secondary international admission.
• Reviewing IELTS test development, format, and score scale.
• Taking and scoring a "mini IELTS" test.
• Walking through the test delivery process and security practices.

• Houston, TX on July 28, 2017
