IFSEC & OSH Arabia 2012 wins Best Overseas Tradeshow > 2,000sq.m at AEO Awards 2013

IFSEC & OSH Arabia 2012, organised by industry leaders UBM Live, was awarded the Best Overseas Tradeshow >2,000 sq.m at last week's prestigious AEO Awards. Judging panels rated IFSEC & OSH Arabia 2012 as the best exhibition in its class for notable improvements in performance, re-bookings, increase in visitor attendance and competitive success.

IFSEC & OSH Arabia 2012 was the second edition of the security, fire and safety event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Launched in 2011, market research and customer insight highlighted opportunities within the security market in this region and generated a 41 per cent visitor increase for the 2012 event.

Aligning with UBM's strategy to geo-adapt the IFSEC brand with the co-location of safety and fire events,  IFSEC & OSH Arabia 2012 was launched following market demand and opportunity. The support and endorsement of the Saudi Ministry of Interior (MOI) and local partners Security Control Company was critical to the success of the show, since all government buyers in the region look to the MOI and The Higher Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS) for purchasing guidance.
