IKEA Joins International Line-up at Resource 2014

Resource, Europe's first major conference and exhibition for organisations committed to developing improved resource strategies and a truly circular global economy is pleased to confirm the addition of Per Stolz, Sustainability Developer, IKEA Services AB to its unrivalled line-up of international thought leaders including Ecover and The French Institute of the Circular Economy.

Per will share with delegates his experience of leading the IKEA Group's 'Turning waste into resources' initiative, which is tasked with improving waste handling at all the Group's sites, developing customer take back schemes, optimising the reuse of products and developing "closed loop projects".

François-Michel Lambert, President of the French Institute of the Circular Economy.   François-Michel will give a keynote presentation to delegates on the 4^th March covering France's approach and progress towards a more resource efficient economy and the importance of cross-sector and global collaboration to its success.  

The international focus continues on day two with Tom Domen, Innovation Manager for Dutch cleaning products giant Ecover taking part in a panel discussion to identify options for a more sustainable approach to packaging.  

The final day of the event will see one of the world's most sustainable and socially responsible brands, Mud Jeans join Kingfisher Group's CEO, Ian Cheshire and Dutch circular supply chain manager aWEARness in debating retail strategies for a circular economy.

For the first time more than 100 major brands from across the design, manufacture, retail and resource management sectors will share a platform at Resource with all parties committed to working together to unlock the commercial and environmental benefits of a truly circular economy.
