Illinois Governor Pat Quinn Recognizes Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center with Statewide Proclamation

CHICAGO, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- In recognition of National Recovery Month, Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center has received a proclamation from the Illinois governor, Pat Quinn, fulfilling Timberline Knolls' request to recognize the month of September 2010 as Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month; a time to celebrate the continued success of the many people in Illinois who have turned their lives around and achieved recovery, and a time focused on bettering the lives of those who are in need of treatment.

Recovery Month is sponsored annually by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment to raise awareness of both the scope of the problem, and the effectiveness of drug and alcohol addiction treatment.
