Images Luxury Nail Lounge Celebrates a New Initiative to Prevent Skin Cancer in Children

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Aug. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Images Luxury Nail Lounge will be the Guest of Honor at the Shade Structure Dedication Ceremony today at Plaza Vista School in Irvine, California. As part of a continued mission to give back to its community, Images donated $10,000 toward building the structure in hopes of reducing the risks of skin cancer in children. Now, with construction complete, the local nail salon will proudly cut the ribbon, celebrating the official unveiling of the playground's much-awaited protective structure.

Mayor Steven Choi will also attend the ribbon cutting ceremony at the school. Afterwards, the Plaza Vista's PTA will host a free outdoor family movie night.

"The American Academy of Dermatology reports one out of five Americans is expected to develop skin cancer in their lifetime," said Nguyen. "Given the fact that schoolchildren spend their recesses and lunches playing outdoors, the decision to help fund a shaded playground structure was not only an easy choice, but also an important one. We are so thrilled we were able to help."
