ERIE, Pa., Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Institute of Medical and Business Careers (IMBC) is accepting applications for fall classes in its Medical Assisting with Phlebotomy diploma and Medical Assisting Technician programs at both the Erie and Pittsburgh campuses. These hands-on training programs prepare Erie-area and Western Pennsylvania students with the clinical and administrative skills needed to enter high-demand healthcare roles within a short amount of time.
Students learn vital signs, lab procedures, patient scheduling, electronic health records, and phlebotomy techniques through classroom instruction, labs, and a required internship. Upon completion, graduates are prepared to sit for national certifications, including the Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) and Nationally Registered Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NRCPT). Exam costs are included in tuition for qualifying students.
