BEIJING, April 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- IMG Worldwide and Jingdong ("JD.com") jointly announced today that IMG worldwide, the global sports, fashion and media company has signed Jingdong, China's leading direct B2C e-commerce company, as the exclusive online retailing partner of the China Super League ("CSL") for the next five years.
Last week IMG announced that it had signed Carlsberg China as the exclusive beer partner of the CSL for a three year period.
Mr. Yu Hongchen, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Football Association (CFA) and Chairman of the CSL Co., said of the partnership, "We are delighted to be working with Jingdong again. Jingdong was an official partner of the CSL back in 2010. Now it's coming back and has signed a major five-year deal with us. This shows that it has faith in CSL and its future development.
