Important Safety Notice: Barber Foods Uncooked Chicken Products Recall Expands to Include no name® Stuffed Chicken Products

BRAMPTON, ON, July 14, 2015 /CNW/ - As indicated in an industry recall on uncooked chicken products issued by the Canadian Food Inspections Agency, Barber Foods, a U.S. manufacturer, has expanded their recall to include the no name® products with the following best before dates. The recall is a continuation of a chicken burger recall issued two weeks ago over salmonella concerns. The products may be unsafe to consume.

The products were sold at the following stores:

Ontario: Fortinos®, Loblaws®, No Frills®, Box by No Frills™, Real Canadian Superstore®, Valu-Mart®, Your Independent Grocer®, Wholesale Club®, Zehrs®, and affiliated independent stores

Atlantic: Atlantic Superstore®, Dominion®, No Frills®, Save Easy®, Your Independent Grocer®, Wholesale Club® and affiliated independent stores

Québec: Loblaws®, Maxi®, Maxi & Cie®, Provigo®, Provigo le Marché®, Wholesale Club® and affiliated independent stores

West: Extra Foods®, No Frills®, Box by No Frills™, Real Canadian Superstore®, Wholesale Club®, Your Independent Grocer® and affiliated independent stores

All units have been removed from store shelves across the country.

Customers can return the products to the place of purchase and the customer service desk will provide a full refund.
