Improved Garbage Can with User-Friendly Design Invented
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Phoenix, Az., has developed the LATCH-CAN, a modified trash container that allows a person to remove a filled trash bag without strain. A prototype is available.
"I developed my invention because of too many bad experiences with ripped trash liners. I find it frustrating when this happens and was inspired to create something that would prevent this from happening," said the inventor.
The LATCH-CAN allows consumers to use natural body mechanics rather than abuse them. Individuals will be able to easily remove a filled trash liner from a garbage can. It eliminates the struggle to lift filled bags from a standard trash container. This will, in turn, prevent discomfort and unwanted strain on the back. It also prevents the problem of ripping a liner and the associated mess. This improved trash can is ideal for the elderly, arthritis sufferers and disabled individuals.
