The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2006 through 2009. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2006, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they have to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent -- not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies -- as of December 31, 2009. Revenue in 2006 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2009 must have been at least $2 million.
"The leaders of the companies on this year's Inc. 5000 have figured out how to grow their businesses during the longest recession since the Great Depression," said Inc. president Bob LaPointe. "The 2010 Inc. 5000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs."
EverStaff specializes in the recruitment of professionals and was founded in 2001 by Danny Spitz – an entrepreneur with a vision of matching employers with the best candidates in Northeast Ohio and across the United States.
"It is an absolute honor to be a part of the Inc. 5000. We would not be here if it wasn't for the quality clients and candidates that have been reaching out to us for the last 10 years. I am very grateful. And with the unemployment rate at an all-time high, it is comforting to know that we are employing people and enriching their lives," says Danny Spitz, President and Owner of EverStaff.
