Incentive Gift Card Council Elects Betty Weinkle 2010- 2011 President

ST. LOUIS, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Betty Weinkle, area vice president for InteliSpend Prepaid Solutions™, was elected president of the Incentive Gift Card Council (IGCC) during the recent Motivation Show in Chicago, Illinois. The IGCC is a strategic industry group within the Incentive Marketing Association (IMA) that promotes the benefits of cards as incentives.

Weinkle previously served as executive vice president during the 2009- 2010 term and led the development of the group's three-year strategic plan. The plan focuses on the pillars of education and resources, networking and member engagement, and public awareness.

Weinkle brings impressive incentive industry experience to her new position. At InteliSpend™, she concentrates on strategic partner acquisition and retention and has consistently overachieved against her goals.  Prior to joining InteliSpend, Weinkle spent over 20 years at The Sharper Image, helping to build and expand the company's incentive division. Weinkle also serves on the IMA's Board of Directors and is an IMA Certified Professional of Incentive Management.
