"Cumulatively in 2011, California had the most bankruptcy filings in the country with more than 234,000, although that is down from the previous year," said Beth Mason, InCharge's Director of Outreach Programs for Bankruptcy Services. "According to leading indicators, western states have been hard hit by economic conditions and this bankruptcy forum comes at a perfect time and location.
