Industry of All Nations to Bring Globally Made Sustainable Apparel to Abbot Kinney Blvd

VENICE, Calif., Sept. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Industry of All Nations (IOAN), an international apparel company that collaborates with local makers from around the globe, today announced the opening of its first retail outpost. Located at 1121 Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice, California, the shop is now open.

Founded in 2010 by Argentinian brothers Juan Diego, Fernando and Patricio Gerscovich with headquarters in Los Angeles, Industry of All Nations began with a single pair of biodegradable espadrilles and a dream: to return manufacturing to the original makers while continually researching and utilizing new sustainable and environmentally conscious production methods.

"We hold the deep belief that we as humans all share this one planet and we need to protect it and protect each other. IOAN currently collaborates with and conducts projects in Argentina, Bolivia, India, Uruguay, Mexico, Indonesia and the US, working closely with artisans and manufacturers to produce everyday goods while exercising environmental stewardship and supporting local economies.

True to the company's collaborative nature, IOAN has partnered with Mr. Mohana Sundaram, one of the partners in the Clean Clothes Project in Tirupur, India, for the launch of the IOAN retail program.

Juan Diego and Fernando, both trained architects, designed the 700 square foot space which, like their products, is uncluttered, straightforward, honest and deceptively simple.
