Event Will Showcase Advances, Solutions for Smart Manufacturing
CLEVELAND and CHANDLER, Ariz., Jan. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The IndustryWeek Manufacturing & Technology Conference and Expo (IW M&T Show) and MESA International today announced the events will co-locate May 8-10, 2018 in Raleigh, NC. To register for both events, click here.
2018 is the fourth time the events will co-locate to bring smart manufacturing to manufacturing professionals. The IW M&T Show is the only event designed to keep manufacturing decision-makers at the forefront of a fast-evolving landscape in a digital era, while MESA is a 26-year old not-for-profit industry association that educates manufacturing, IT and supply chain professionals from C-Suite to Plant Floor about the role and value of IT-based solutions throughout product value chains.
The three-day IW M&T Show brings together over 800 senior manufacturers, 1,500 attendees, 100 exhibitors and 36 conference sessions across six tracks in manufacturing operations and design engineering. Conference content focuses on the key elements of advanced manufacturing: technology integration, leadership, operational excellence, design/engineering, talent development and supply chain.
The theme of the MESA North American Conference is "Seeking Common Ground for Smart Manufacturing." The MESA event will have one dedicated track of speakers entitled "MESA Smart Manufacturing Track". MESA will be located at booth #349 on the Expo Floor and will also hold its International and Americas Board-of-Directors meetings and host committee and Working Group collaboration as well as networking opportunities for the global MESA community.
MESA will also host a special half-day event designed to help manufacturers understand the key concepts in Smart Manufacturing, as new technologies transform manufacturing supply chains, production and customer relationships. New research on Smart Manufacturing will be presented and attendees will have the opportunity to examine elements of Smart Manufacturing that can improve their businesses.
