CAMBRIDGE, Mass., June 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Infinio, inventor of downloadable storage performance, today revealed that it is the "secret company" sponsoring the upcoming Tech Field Day 9 in Austin, Texas. Infinio's presentation on June 20 will be the company's first public demo, featuring the soon-to-be-released Infinio Accelerator, a software-only solution to NAS performance in virtualized environments.

Thirteen carefully selected delegates will see an exclusive live demo from Infinio Director of Product Management Peter Smith. Recordings of the demo will publically available the week of June 24.

Infinio is developing software to address the most expensive bottleneck in virtual environments: storage performance. Unlike other products that require SSDs or flash cards to accelerate NAS performance, Infinio offers a true software-only solution for maintaining acceptable storage performance as virtualized environments scale.
