Infiniti Announces $40,450 U.S. Starting Price for All-New 2013 Infiniti JX Luxury Crossover

FRANKLIN, Tenn., Nov. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Infiniti announced a $40,450 U.S. starting price for the 2013 Infiniti JX luxury crossover, which is scheduled to go on sale at Infiniti retailers nationwide in spring 2012.  The all-new 7-passenger/3-row luxury crossover, which made its world debut today at the Los Angeles Auto Show, is offered in two models, the Infiniti JX35 FWD and Infiniti JX35 AWD.  Each is equipped with a 265-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine and Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with Sport mode.

The new JX offers a vibrant symphony of both luxury and style, highlighted by the new Infiniti design language direction, as well as a suite of personal luxury accommodations.  Along with its standout styling and craftsmanship, the breakthrough JX design offers excellent legroom in all three rows and ample cargo room behind the 3rd row.  In addition, an innovative middle seat design provides entry to the 3rd row without removing the 2nd row child seat.  The JX also continues Infiniti's tradition of developing world's first technologies, adding a new feature, Backup Collision Intervention (BCI), to the currently available Blind Spot Intervention™ (BSI) system.  With this technology, when the transmission is in reverse, the JX will help the driver detect crossing vehicles and objects behind the JX and, if necessary, the system can automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a collision.

Infiniti Connection™, a new feature offered as part of the Premium Package, can automatically synch the owner's schedule through Google Calendar™ and then provides navigation guidance to appointments.  The system also allows you to set up Drive Zone and Speed Alerts, along with multiple other functions.  For those desiring a more human connection, the system can connect with the Infiniti Personal Assistant, which offers owners personal concierge services, such as arranging dinner reservations, flight changes, or purchase of anniversary gifts, from inside or outside of their Infiniti vehicle.
