WebFOCUS Product Innovations
In September, Information Builders unveiled the new WebFOCUS BI and analytics platform, combining ease of use with proven scalability. The solution includes several new features designed to improve flexibility, promote collaboration and communication, and boost analytical power. These capabilities, combined with traditional governed BI, help organizations turn raw data into informed action based on trusted insights.

Executive Appointments
To further fuel innovation across Information Builders' solutions portfolio, the company appointed two industry veterans to drive product engineering and streamline operations.  Eric Raab will serve as senior vice president, Engineering and Product, while Kabir Choudry supports cloud and customer success teams as vice president, Field Technical Engineering and Strategy.

Other appointments include: Frank Brunetti, global head of Operations; Alan Abraham, country manager of Australia; Robyn Allen, senior director, Federal Sales; and Mike Conti, sales manager, New York region.

Customer and Sales Growth
In Q3 2018, Information Builders continued to build its global roster of clients across industries, rounding out the quarter with 15 percent more new clients than was added in all of 2017. Among the many new customers added in Q3 were eSentire, IDEMIA, and Young Life. Additionally, Information Builders expanded engagements with customers across industries and regions, including Ford Credit, FedEx, Michigan State Police, and Nationwide to name a few.

The company reported that its overall software sales were up 18 percent year over year at the end of Q3 2018 as more organizations leverage Information Builders' scalable solutions and begin to take advantage of its cloud offerings powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), which were announced at the company's Summit 2018 User Conference. In addition, iWay's data quality maintenance facilities have gained popularity as people are recognizing the importance of clean data more than ever.
