Information Builders Ranks First Among Its Peers in Operational BI and Vendor Support in BARC's The BI Survey 17

The BI Survey 17 analyzed Information Builders in two peer groups, large international BI vendors and large enterprise BI platforms, and ranked the company as the top vendor in the above metrics in both groups. Information Builders rated first in the large enterprise BI platforms group in an additional six metrics, including embedded BI, customer satisfaction and flexibility. In addition to its first place positioning in four metrics in the large international BI vendor group, the company ranked as a leader in eight metrics including business benefits, customer experience, and embedded BI.

Key Highlights Include:

• The BI Survey 17 ranked Information Builders' WebFOCUS BI and analytics platform first in both peer groups in the operational BI metric, a category in which the company has been unbeaten for the last four years. According to the report, WebFOCUS "supports the creation of custom BI and analytics portals which…are highly customizable."
• The company's leadership position in vendor support is a competitive differentiator, particularly among its international peers. The report found that global vendors often struggle to provide quality customer support and that Information Builders is one of the few organizations that has consistently done well in this area over the last six years
• WebFOCUS received high marks for its flexibility, with more half of customer respondents citing flexibility as a chief reason for selecting the platform
• The company's status as the top ranked vendor in both peer groups in sales experience "indicates that Information Builders is a valuable and high quality partner to do business with."
