Inland Truck Parts and Service Celebrates 75th Anniversary

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., March 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Inland Truck Parts and Service, an industry leader in parts, remanufacturing and repair for light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks is celebrating its 75^th anniversary. The employee-owned and operated company, which has expanded its footprint throughout the Midwest and Great Plains, was originally founded in Minneapolis, Minn., as Industrial & Truck Parts in 1944.

In February 1975, Industrial and Truck Parts merged with Nebraska Parts Company, changing its name to Inland Truck Parts Company (ITP) a year later. Over the next five decades, the company expanded by acquiring new companies or opening stores throughout the South and Great Plains, spanning 40 locations in 13 states.

In July 2018, ITP acquired Drive Train Industries of Denver, CO, gaining an additional eight locations in three states. The combined company currently has more than 850 employees.
