Innealta Names Dr. Vito Sciaraffia as Co-Chief Investment Officer

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- AFAM Capital, a diversified, privately held provider of specialty investment solutions, today has announced the appointment of Dr. Vito Sciaraffia as Co-Chief Investment Officer of its Innealta Division. This appointment represents the firm's latest effort to add robust intellectual capital as it continues expanding its institutional-quality investment committee.

Innealta Capital was acquired by AFAM Capital in November, 2009, and since that time has added extensive PhD level and CFA credentialed talent to the Innealta Investment Committee. Throughout the past half-decade, Mark Mowrey, CFA, and Dr. Brian Henderson, PhD, CFA, have been contributing and voting members of the Investment Committee. The committee is further supported by additional research and trading professionals in AFAM's Texas and California offices.

As Co-Chief Investment Officer, Dr. Sciaraffia will collaborate with Innealta founder and Co-CIO Dr. Jeff Buetow and the full Innealta Investment Committee.
