Innovatus Capital Partners Announces Formation

NEW YORK, Sept. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Innovatus Capital Partners, LLC ("Innovatus") today announced its launch as an independent investment adviser and portfolio management firm. Established by Co-Founders David Schiff and Andrew Dym, the firm will employ a private debt and diversified asset-based strategy. Previously, as Portfolio Manager and Partner respectively, Messrs. Schiff and Dym were key members of the Perella Weinberg Asset Based Value Strategy and they bring their accomplished 16 year history of working together to Innovatus.

• Andrew Hobson, Partner and Chief Financial Officer: Mr. Hobson joined Innovatus from Univision Communications, where he served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, leading multiple acquisitions and joint ventures throughout his 23 year tenure at the firm.
• Joseph Schottland, Partner and Head of Research: Mr. Schottland joined Innovatus from McKinsey & Company where he served as Partner, leading due diligence for private equity transactions and advising companies across a broad spectrum of industries on restructuring, strategy, commercial and operational performance improvements.
• Amy Cohen, Head of Marketing and Investor Relations: Ms. Cohen previously worked with Messrs. Schiff and Dym at Perella Weinberg Partners where she served as Managing Director – Product Strategist for the Asset Based Value Strategy.
