Insight Academy of Arizona Open for 2012-13 School Year

PHOENIX, Aug. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today marks the first day of school for Insight Academy of Arizona, a new statewide online public school option for students in grades 7-12. Insight Academy of Arizona is offered under the state-approved Arizona Virtual Academy (AZVA) -- the largest full time online public charter school in the state.

Insight Academy of Arizona will use Aventa Learning by K12.  The curriculum includes extensive core and credit recovery courses allowing greater flexibility for students to learn at their individual pace. Insight Academy of Arizona combines online learning with support from experienced, Arizona-certified teachers.  Teachers regularly interact with students and provide direct instruction to through engaging online classes. At Insight Academy of Arizona, dedicated staff will help students work through non-academic issues, while counselors will offer support for students' graduation plans and post-secondary goals.
