Integrated Digital Marketing Veteran Mike Russell Joins MSLGROUP Americas as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development

NEW YORK, Nov. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- MSLGROUP Americas, a part of MSLGROUP, the Publicis Groupe's flagship specialty communications and  engagement company, today announced the appointment of Mike Russell to the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

Russell, who will report directly to Jim Tsokanos, President, MSLGROUP Americas, will oversee new business lead generation across MSLGROUP Americas' eight  practice areas and 19 owned operations. Specifically, he will be charged with identifying and securing he will be charged with identifying and securing national and U.S.-based global accounts in integrated marketing, digital/social media and experiential.

Prior to joining MSLGROUP Americas, Russell had served as Managing Director, Business Development at Meredith Integrated Marketing, a direct and digital marketing arm of media company Meredith Corporation, for the past four years.

Throughout his career, Russell has specialized in developing integrated, multi-channel marketing and communications programs for major brands such as Wells Fargo and Volkswagen. Prior to joining Meredith Integrated Marketing, Russell spent 12 years working for Hearst Corp, Time Inc. and two agencies in Boston.
