Integrity Vehicle Solutions President And CEO Testifies Before London Assembly Transport Committee On Ride Integrity

The public meeting held on July 9, 2014 is one of two that the London Assembly Transport Committee is holding as part of its investigation into the taxi and private hire services in London which will culminate in recommendations to the Mayor of London and Transport for London (TfL), the local governing body of the transport system in greater London.  The committee is looking into a variety of issues surrounding taxis and private hire vehicles including the use of technology to improve service, supply and demand within the city, fares, safety and service issues. 

James' testimony to the committee focused on how Ride Integrity is currently being utilized by the regulatory agency in the City of San Francisco as a compliance tool and to develop an overall view of all of the for-hire vehicles within their jurisdiction.  He described how Ride Integrity provides regulators with capabilities to integrate third party technologies and smartphone apps into the regulatory framework and to digitally interface with fleets and vehicles to eliminate much of the antiquated flow of paperwork that is typically part of the compliance process.
