He is based in the firm's Cleveland and West Palm Beach offices. Benni provides legal advice and counseling to clients regarding a wide range of issues relating to intellectual property, including the management and exploitation of domestic and international intellectual property portfolios. His experience encompasses the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications, and trademark applications. Benni has negotiated and drafted a variety of intellectual property agreements. He has conducted all kinds of intellectual property due diligence, managed worldwide domain name portfolios, drafted intellectual property policies, and handled a variety of Internet issues.

Before joining McDonald Hopkins, Benni served as Senior Managing Counsel, IP, Advertising and Licensing for a leading global supplier of office products and services. He received a J.D. in 1998 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in 1995 from Purdue University.
