Interactions Corporation Selects David Samuels as Chief Strategy Officer

BOSTON, June 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Interactions Corporation, a leading provider of technology applications that is transforming the customer care industry, announced today that David Samuels has joined the company as Chief Strategy Officer.  Samuels, who brings over 25 years of entrepreneurial, operating, and senior level management experience at both private and public companies, will be responsible for Interactions' strategic activities including the corporate and business development functions and marketing.

Samuels most recently served as the Executive Vice President at EnerNOC where he concurrently led several departments, including corporate development where he completed nine acquisitions and three public offerings.  During his seven year tenure, he played an important role in growing the business from $9M in trailing revenue to an expected $360-400M in revenue this year. In 2011, the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council named Mr. Samuels a Finalist for the Emerging Executive of the Year award.

Prior to EnerNOC, Samuels was Executive Vice President of Guardent, a leading data security company he co-founded in 2000.  In 2002, he was honored by Ernst & Young as a New England Entrepreneur of the Year winner and two years later Guardent was acquired by VeriSign (NASDAQ: VRSN).

Prior to Guardent, Mr. Samuels served as the Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel at i-Cube where he played a leading role in its almost $2 billion acquisition by Razorfish in 1999 and i-Cube's being named the 1998 Massachusetts IPO of the Year.
