Interactions Selects Jim Bandanza as EVP of Sales

BOSTON, Aug. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Interactions Corporation (www.interactions.net), the leading provider of advanced conversational virtual assistant applications for customer care, announced today that Jim Bandanza has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Bandanza, who brings over 25 years of executive technology sales experience, will be responsible for leading Interactions' global sales initiatives with an expanded product offering into new international markets.

Bandanza most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Egenera, where he was responsible for leading the company's sales and service organizations. During his time with the company, he led the transformation of the go to market model to meet the needs of the company's evolving cloud based software business. 

Prior to Egenera, Bandanza held several executive leadership positions at RSA, The Security Division of EMC. Most recently, he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Field Operations, where he led Sales and Professional Services organizations worldwide. Before that, Bandanza was RSA's Senior Vice President of Field Operations, and was a critical member of the management team when EMC acquired RSA for $2.1 billion in 2005. Jim also held senior roles with Stream International, Versys Inc, BBN and LTX Corporation.

Bandanza earned his Bachelor's degree in business from Northeastern University.
