Interluxe to Auction Late Hall of Fame Football Legend Reggie White's Charlotte Area Lakefront Estate to Support Charity

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Sara White, Charlotte resident, philanthropist and wife of the late Hall of Fame Football Legend, Reggie White, is offering the Lake Norman home the couple designed and shared, through an exclusive Interluxe online auction scheduled to begin March 12 at 9 a.m.

Sara White, in conjunction with DreamSleep, founded the Reggie White Foundation for Sleep Education, dedicated to providing access to everyone regardless of their financial or insurance status to treatment for sleep disorders. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the home will be donated by the Reggie White Foundation for Sleep Education, to charities that provide life-saving dental appliance technology to people with sleep apnea, the condition that contributed to Reggie's passing in 2004 at the age of 43.

One of the most awarded players in the National Football League (NFL), Reggie played a total of 15 seasons as defensive end for the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers. He was a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and Pro Football Hall of Fame, a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, a 13-time Pro-Bowl, a 13-time All-Pro, and holds the record for second place for all-time career sacks, with 198, among other honors and accomplishments.
