KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Sept. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the general international belief is that Myanmar presents an excellent opportunity for investment. Myanmar is ripe for development and is already experiencing solid growth with foreign investment. The ongoing quest for low cost production has drawn manufacturers' attention to Myanmar. Also, one of the key initiatives emphasized through Myanmar's reform programs is the efficient supply of potable water and provision of sanitation services. The current total utilisation of Myanmar's water resources is only about 5% of the potential supply available in the country. Clearly, for now the demand surpasses supply.

However, as with all opportunities and investment, there are challenges; equipment suppliers and machinery are a current need.
