International Coach Federation Streamlines Credentialing System with Integral 7

LEXINGTON, Ky., Sept. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In the past, keeping track of your coaching credentials online has been a cumbersome, time-consuming process. ICF is now actively improving its user experience by employing a new online application process. This new system was created in partnership with Integral 7, an industry leader in credential application processes.

Using Integral 7 offers a wealth of new benefits and opportunities to the recent ACTP/ASCTH graduate and seasoned coach alike. One of these being the ability to keep a history of all previously completed forms and past interactions. This information is now stored and easily accessible to the user at any time.  

"In the past, when a user would leave a document or form, the page and its information were gone, unavailable to the member again," ICF President Ed Modell said. "Now, all that information is readily available and helps streamline the process when applying for a new credential or renewal."

Another great aspect of Integral 7 is the simplified process of searching and finding the requirements for credentials. The Continuing Coaching Education (CCE) courses will be easily available for students and coaches to find. "Users will definitely be pleased at the speed and ease of finding the necessary requirements," explained Modell. "Now there are fewer steps in the credentialing and renewal process."

Not only does the adoption of Integral 7 allow for easier access, it will also help cut down on the service time it takes ICF to process member information. The new credentialing management system allows simultaneous application processing, improving the speed members receive their earned credential.

The implementation of the Integral 7 application process also shows ICF potential for many more improvements. "There has been some significant learning about the complexity of the application process and the problems regarding an applicant's experience that was not possible with the former system," said Modell. "Using Integral 7 has allowed the staff to do a great job of tracking problems and making adjustments to the forms and instructions based on feedback of the applicants. This ability to respond meets with ICF's goals of continuous improvement of the applicant experience."

In the future, ICF plans to roll out several more changes to its credentialing system using Integral 7. Users can look forward to seeing online renewal applications for credentials, and a new and improved CCE calendar. Eventually ICF hopes to use Integral 7 to eliminate the need for users to keep paper copies of CCE information. The eventual integration of all CCE information is a driving goal behind the Integral 7 implementation.
