International Media invited to cover the 9th Leon H. Sullivan Summit in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea

MALABO, Equatorial Guinea, Aug. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Leon H. Sullivan Foundation in conjunction with the host country, the Republic of Equatorial Guinea invites all international press to attend the 9^th Leon H. Sullivan Summit in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, which is being held from August 20-24, 2012.

The Summit will be attended by Presidents and Heads of State of Africa, International Organizations and NGO's from around the globe, International Celebrities and Music Artists.

What: In keeping with the broad Summit theme of human rights and dignity, the 9th Sullivan Summit will address matters related to Economic Development, Food Security and Agricultural Sustainability in Africa, Trade and Regional Integration, Health and Human Development, and Governance. In addition, a Youth Forum will be held in concurrence of the Summit, which will address topics related to Youth Entrepreneurship and Leadership.

When: August 20-24^th, 2012

For all press who wishing to attend the Summit, please send an email with a copy of your passport and a digital copy of your passport photo. Your information will be forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to the Ministry of Information for Visa and Press Accreditation.

American citizens do not require visas.

All other press who request visas will receive documentation enabling travel to Malabo. Documentation can be presented upon arrival for visa clearance.
