International Monetary Fund (IMF) Selects LAC Group for Library Services and Archives, Records Management and Library Staff Augmentation Services

ROCKVILLE, Md., July 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- LAC Group was awarded a contract by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to provide library services for the IMF and World Bank joint library network, along with Archives, Records Management and Library Staff Augmentation Services on an as-needed basis.

LAC staff will be providing services to the joint IMF and World Bank library network for Document Delivery, Inter-Library Loan, Periodicals and other Library Support, Cataloging Support, Indexing Support and Website Support for the Information Services Division of the Technology and General Services Department of IMF.

The IMF Library Network holds approximately 380,000 printed volumes and provides access to over 25,000 electronic books, and 65,000 journals and newspapers through various databases and journal providers, 600 print journal subscriptions, 18 research paper series and approximately 200 commercial databases. The Joint Library print collection includes 250,000 items and the World Bank Group collection holdings are 80,000 items. LAC Group will be providing assistance to support the continued shift from paper to digital for making more materials available via a self-serve model.
