Internationally Recognized Sustainability Expert Susann Geithner Joins Predictive Service as Global Sustainability Manager

CLEVELAND, Feb. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Predictive Service, a global leader in providing engineering, maintenance, reliability and sustainability solutions, has announced the addition of Susann Geithner—an expert in LEED® design and energy auditing—as the company's Global Sustainability Manager. Ms. Geithner brings with her a wealth of experience in efficient design and facility optimization, and she will be an integral part of Predictive Service's sustainability consulting services moving forward.

While Ms. Geithner has professional experience with design, construction, property management and real estate investment, her true passion and expertise lies in LEED® consulting. She is a LEED® Accredited Professional (AP) for Existing Buildings, Operations and Maintenance, as well as a LEED® AP for Building Design and Construction. She has worked on LEED® projects in almost every building category and led the certification of the first LEED® CS Platinum building under the 2009 version of the standards, for which won Real Estate Manager Award for Sustainability in 2011. She has also led LEED® certification of Germany's largest office building (1.7 million square feet), which also houses two hotels and retail establishments and won the MIPM Award for best office building.

Ms. Geithner is also actively involved within the industry on a local and global level. She serves as Vice Chair for the Cleveland 2030 District (an organization committed to reducing the carbon footprint of area buildings), a member and volunteer advisor for international projects at the U.S. Green Building Council, a Chair of the regional priority task force within the North East Ohio Green Building Council, an instructor for sustainability at the Real Estate Associates Program (REAP), and a LEEDUser.com Expert. She holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Applied Science Anhalt in Dessau, Germany and a master's degree in management of real estate, construction and infrastructure from Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany.
