Inteva Products Expands Roof Systems Manufacturing Presence into Western China

TROY, Mich., May 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Inteva Products is expanding its Asia Pacific footprint to Western China with the opening of a new Roof Systems manufacturing plant in Chengdu.  The newly-constructed facility was dedicated today in a Grand Opening Celebration attended by customers, suppliers and government officials. The Chengdu operation will begin full production in September.

Inteva Chengdu Operations will support Shanghai Inteva Automotive Parts Co. Ltd (Inteva SAMAP),  a joint venture between Inteva Products and its long-standing business partner Shanghai SIIC Transportation Electronic Company, Ltd (STEC).

Inteva Chengdu will have complete operation capabilities and full quality-assurance testing for Roof Systems. The plant is designed to accommodate the potential for future expansion into other Inteva product lines.
