Inteva Products Opens Automotive Door Systems Technical Center in Shanghai, China

TROY, Mich., Sept. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Inteva SDADS is enhancing its competitiveness and strengthening its advanced product development capabilities with the opening of a new automotive door systems technical center in Shanghai, China. The 50,000 square-foot facility includes a new sound chamber, extensive testing capabilities, an expanded engineering center, and an advanced development lab.

Shanghai Inteva Automotive Door Systems Co., Ltd. (Inteva SDADS) is a joint venture partnership between Inteva Products and Shanghai SIIC Transportation Electronic Company, Ltd. Inteva SDADS has manufacturing operations and engineering capabilities in Shanghai producing latches, actuators, control modules and door modules for customers such as Volkswagen, SAIC and General Motors. Inteva SDADS has approximately 400 employees.
