Inteva SDADS Honored as Chery Automotive 2011 Excellent Supplier

TROY, Mich., March 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Shanghai Inteva Automotive Door Systems Co..Ltd. (Inteva SDADS), a joint venture of Inteva Products and Shanghai SIIC Transportation Electric Company, Ltd., was honored by Chinese Automaker Chery as a 2011 Excellent Supplier. Only six out of 492 suppliers were named for the 2011 Top Annual Excellent Supplier.

Inteva SDADS is providing Chery with the Mini-Wedge Latch and Global Latch for Model Easter, A3, G5 and G6 since 2006. Inteva SDADS is now recognized as Chery's key strategic supplier. Inteva SDADS has manufacturing operations and engineering capabilities in Shanghai producing latches, actuators, control modules and door modules for customers such as Chery, Volkswagen, SAIC and General Motors. Inteva SDADS has approximately 400 employees and was established in December 1999.

Chery Automobile Co. Ltd was founded on Jan. 8, 1997. At present, Chery possesses an annual production capacity of 900,000 cars, engines and 400,000 transmissions.
