Color.Works offers one-of-a-kind, never sold before hand-made artwork using full-length crayons. Each piece of art is hand-assembled, crayon-by-crayon, to ensure consistency between consumers' selected image and the colorwork they receive. Through one of a kind pre-designed colorworks, and through personal photographs or designs, consumers can instantly drift back to a time when the most cherished artwork in their home hung on the refrigerator.
The process begins in the Color.Works warehouse, where millions of crayons, available in 137 colors, are waiting to be incorporated into each unique colorwork. An appropriate sized frame for each colorwork is selected for assembly, a patent-pending process is then employeed to keep each individual crayon in proper alignment for years to come. Each crayon is treated as a pixel and strategically placed in designated locations to create the finished breathtaking result.
Color.Works offers both pre-designed hand-made art, and custom hand-made art which the consumer creates by uploading their image to the website. All of the Color.Works products are available for purchase beginning September 22 at www.color.works. Colorworks are available in a variety of sizes; the smallest being 6" x 6-3/4", with a crayon count of 195 crayons to the largest being 37-1/4" x 55" with a crayon count of 15,000 crayons, ranging in price from $69 to $3,229.
