PITTSBURGH, Oct. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Redondo Beach, Calif., who is also a mail carrier, wanted to streamline many processes associated with mail delivery. In order to do that, he redesigned the conventional mail box to take advantage of the technology that drives current electronic devices.
He developed patent pending SMART MAIL BOX to alert users when physical mail arrives in their mailbox. Furthermore, it enables them to view the mailbox contents and the surrounding area remotely. The inventor's experience on the job inspired the idea. "While working as a mailman, I wasted considerable time and effort with manual tasks that I thought could be automated with today's communications technology," he said.
