PITTSBURGH, May 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "I thought there should be a way to regulate the air pressure to a predetermined point when filling a tire," said an inventor, from Mora, N.M., "so I invented the SAFE STOP AIR CHUCK. My design ensures the tire is properly filled to a certain PSI, thereby reducing the risk of over or under filling the tire."
The patent-pending invention allows individuals to preset the air compressor to a particular PSI. In doing so, it effectively regulates the air pressure when filling a tire. As a result, it prevents the user from accidentally overfilling a tire with air, which could avoid unsafe pressure to the tire that can cause injury/death. It also immediately detaches from the tire when the set PSI is reached, and it prevents losing air in the tire.
