PITTSBURGH, Jan. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to create an accessory to help preserve carbonation in soda, beer, juice, or other beverages," said an inventor, from Bloomington, Minn., "so I invented the TAP CAP. My design would minimize carbonation loss each time the bottle is opened to prevent flat, unappealing drinks."
The invention provides an effective means of keeping beverages carbonated for a longer period of time inside a bottle. In doing so, it helps preserve the taste and effervescence of a beverage inside a bottle. It also provides a protective barrier between the beverage and air, germs, debris, etc. As a result, it helps prevent beverage waste. The invention features a practical and reusable design that is easy to apply and use so it is ideal for the general population. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.
The original design was submitted to the Chicago sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
