PITTSBURGH, Nov. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- "As an electrician, I wanted to create a simple and easy way to make a larger hole where a small hole exists," said an inventor, from Deer Park, N.Y., "so I invented the E Z HOLE EXPANDER. My design would greatly simplify the process, and it allows just the right diameter opening to be achieved."
The patent-pending invention provides an easier way to cut a larger round hole where a smaller hole already exists. In doing so, it ensures the saw remains centralized and stable while rotating. As a result, it prevents wobbling, damage, frustrations and delays. It also enables the user to achieve a cleaner and properly-sized hole. The invention features a simple design that is easy to use so it is ideal for electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, carpenters, etc. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.
The original design was submitted to the Long Island sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
