PITTSBURGH, Nov. 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- "I work in law enforcement, and I wanted to create a modified taser with a unique feature to ensure the electrodes struck and adhered to the target at an appropriate distance to create the arc of electricity needed to neutralize a suspect or perpetrator," said an inventor, from Watsonville, Calif., "so I invented the DEGREE OF ACCURACY. My design would provide a more accurate, effective, and safer taser option."
The invention provides an improved design for a taser. In doing so, it would calculate the distance to the target and would calibrate the spread between the weapon's electrodes or darts/prongs to the proper angle even if the target was moving. As a result, it increases accuracy, performance, and safety. The invention features a reliable design that is easy to use so it is ideal for law enforcement and correctional officers.
The original design was submitted to the San Diego sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
