PITTSBURGH, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "My son had epilepsy. I wanted to create a pillow to enhance air flow and protect against suffocation if having a seizure at night," said an inventor, from Flowery Branch, Ga., "so I invented the SAFE AT NITE PILLOW. My son became a statistic due to suffocation from a seizure. This product would have taken away the concern of him having a seizure at night. My design also would be easy to keep clean, and it would not have to be totally replaced as often as traditional anti-suffocation pillows."
The invention provides a new pillow for people who may experience seizures while they sleep. In doing so, it would not restrict airflow. As a result, it helps prevent the user from suffocating. It also provides added protection and comfort for families of those with seizure disorders. The invention features a strong and durable design that is easy to use so it is ideal for individuals with epilepsy and seizure disorders. It can be described as a hammock for the head.
The original design was submitted to the National sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
