PITTSBURGH, Feb. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "I have worked in the HVAC industry for 35 years and was unsatisfied with assorted register boots on the market that all serve very specific needs," said an inventor, from Bristol, Ind., "so I invented the UNIBOOT. My design helps simplify things as one box of boots could be purchased in the size of the registers to be installed in the structure."
The patent-pending invention provides a smaller register boot to fit tighter spaces for HVAC installers. In doing so, it would handle all the angles and curves in tighter spaces instead needing straight boots, right boots, and left boots. As a result, it eliminates the need to obtain multiple types and sizes to accommodate the registers. It also helps save time and costs during manufacturing, packaging, shipping, distribution, etc. Additionally, it helps save time and space as it would cover up to 48 different sizes/types/angles of boots. The invention features a convenient and user-friendly design that is easy to employ so it is ideal for HVAC contractors and professional installers, do-it-yourselfers, etc. A prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.
The original design was submitted to the National sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
