PITTSBURGH, Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "I thought there could be an easier way to turn sockets," said an inventor, from Vineland, N.J., "so I invented the J R EXTENSION. My design enables you to reposition the socket where needed, and it allows you to grip it using a crescent wrench or an adjustable wrench for added torque."
The invention provides an improved way to grip and turn a fastener using a ratchet. In doing so, it increases support and torque. As a result, it saves time and effort, and it can be used in tight or hard-to-reach locations. The invention features a strong and user-friendly design that is easy to use so it is ideal for professional automotive mechanics, trade workers, do-it-yourselfers, diesel mechanics, and maintenance workers. Additionally, a prototype is available.
The original design was submitted to the Philadelphia sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
